Flourished in theory and composition courses at CUHK, I encourage my students to understand and perform music from the composers’ perspectives. With my science background, students are instructed to play the piano with proper postures and hand gestures to achieve vibrant tone colours. Studying music will no longer be baffling. During classes, students are inspired to acquire the ability to active listening and music appreciation. Students can practice regularly at their paces. Motivated and enthusiastic students are welcome.
大學時期主修音樂理論及作曲等課目, 能讓學生嘗試從作曲家角度理解並演繹樂曲。加上導師理科背景, 可指導學生運用正確姿勢彈奏以達至豐富音色, 學習音樂不再抽象。教學上積極訓練及培養學生主動聆聽及鑑賞音樂的能力, 學生可依自己進度勤加練習, 歡迎有心及熱誠學生。
